What does it mean to be "Born Again?"

Information And Links To Other Sources On The Net

The links that are included here are meant to help you with any questions that I can't answer. While I agree with most of the content on these links, I haven't examined every page at every site. It is my belief, by evidence of the content of the pages that I looked at, that these sites are all mainstream evangelical, but I do not necessarily agree with everything they may say.

Answers Page: This page has a lot of information that you may find useful. It is presented in a simple manner that is fairly easy to understand. The only thing I found that I sharply disagreed with was his stance on King James Version of the Bible as being the measuring rod by which all others are to be judged.

Center For Creation Science: If you have thought that evolution was a cut and dried fact, visit this page for some answers to your questions, and some questions that darwinism can't answer.

Power To Change: This is a good evangelical resource that has more information than I can provide here. The gospel is presented in a very simple way and there are pages that will give a person instruction to grow and experience the joy of knowing Jesus.

Christian Answers.Net: These pages really are a network of web sites on various subjects that you may have questions about. Associated sites include information about; Biblical archeology, different religions, creation/evolution, theology, family issues and so forth.

Who Is Jesus?: This site lets you explore the humanity and the deity of Jesus Christ. This site is operated by Campus Crusade for Christ.

Apologetics Index: If you have any questions left, this web site may be able to answer them. This site deals mostly with cults and doctrine. The best way to keep from being involved in a cult is to know the gospel so well that the errors of a cult are immediately evident. This site will help you recognize the teachings of many cults.

I could list more sites and resources, but this is more than enough to get one started.

It is my sincere hope that you examine as much information as you need and consider Jesus for your life. If you truly take Jesus as your Savior, you will not regret it. Nobody is promising an easy life, instant perfection, or instant victory in your life, but a life dedicated to Him is filled with joy amid the adversities that happen to all of us.

Nobody expects a newborn baby to run a marathon. A baby grows from no knowledge, strength, or experience over time so that as he matures he is stronger and more capable, until, after time, he might be capable of running a marathon. God doesn't expect a newborn Christian to be instantly mature either. Growth in a child or a Christian takes time. As with a child, you won't be able to see the growth every day, yet when you look over time the growth is obvious. Here is a fact that is also important to consider, if over time you don't see a child or a Christian grow, then there is something wrong. With a child it is probably due to either lack of nourishment, a virus, or bacterial infection. With a Christian it is probably due to either , lack of nourishment (not feeding on God's word), unconfessed sin, or sin that we are still hanging on to.

In all cases, where there is life, there is growth and maturity.

Who am I? I am Frank Moreau from Everson, Washington. I am a member of and web servant for Grace Baptist Church of Bellingham, WA. It is my testimony that is on the introductory page. These pages were originally a sub directory of the web site I did for my church, but they were moved to a stand alone site. The site was free, but the providers decided to close all of the free sites, so once again they are a sub-directory of GBCBellingham.org. The church's web address is http://www.gbcbellingham.org , check us out.

Although I am a Baptist, and believe and uphold the Baptist distinctives, I have specifically tried not to use my church name or denomination (with one exception.) This is not about which church does it more correctly, it's about introducing Jesus Christ to any who's heart is open.
