One of the many pleasures a pastor has is baptizing young people he has watched grow up in the church. |
Tim Jackson is baptized this evening, the first Sunday in December, 2000 |
Coming up more than just a wet Christian, baptism is a puplic testimony of ones desire to have Christ as Lord.. |
Tim's sister, Michelle, is also baptized this evening. |
As Christ died, so we symbolize our dying to self. |
Coming out of the water symbolizes the resurection of Jesus, and our resurection to newness of life in Christ. |
Teens are not the only ones who are baptized. Bev Bonnar desired to follow the biblical Baptist tradition of baptism by immersion. |
Baptizing in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. |
It was a great evening. |
